How is this different from Teal, Huntr, or Simplify?
Most trackers store a link and a status. Ours freezes the full job description and your ATS match score at apply-time when you log from a GotResumeBuilder resume, then flags whether the linked resume has changed since. Premium follow-up letters use the frozen job description so the role context stays correct.
Is the tracker really free?
Yes — the tracker is free for all users with a GotResumeBuilder account, including all of its analytics: frozen JD/score snapshots, status timeline, ghost detection, funnel analytics, and CSV export. The only Premium-gated feature inside the tracker is AI follow-up letter generation for stale applications. Many users get sponsored Premium access through our partnerships with schools, public libraries, and non-profit organizations — check with your institution.
Can I import existing applications from another tracker?
Manual entry is the current path; bulk-import via CSV is on the roadmap. The log dialog lets you choose the resume used and add the job URL, source, date, and notes.
What happens if I delete the resume I applied with?
The application row survives. The frozen JD snapshot, ATS score snapshot, and your notes stay intact — the row's just no longer linked to a live resume. The tracker is built to preserve the application record even when resumes change.
Does the tracker pair with the AI cover letter generator?
Yes. Each application can have a saved cover letter linked to it. When you generate AI follow-ups for stale applications, the AI uses the JD snapshot from the tracker, so your follow-up references the right job — even if your resume has been re-tailored to a different role since.
